Red vs Blue winter, prompt: Shenanigans
Well, the prompts for Winner’s Week are in! Unfortunately, so far one of the winners hasn’t claimed their prompts, so for now you guys can submit whatever you want.
Week 16 starts tomorrow, so get ready!
Day 1: -
Day 2: -
Day 3: Radiant
Day 4: Insomnia
Day 5: Maine
Day 6: Maine
Day 7: Maine
North coughed, the sickening burn from his wound making his head spin. He couldn’t think on that though, the pain or the fear, it was the last thing in his mind. He was more focused on South and Theta. He’d taken the hit without a second thought for his own safety, shoving a mouthing off South out of the way the last moment before catching the Meta’s blade to the gut. Why did she have to taunt that thing anyways!?
Carolina had to wonder how her daughter managed to scream as loudly as she currently was, given her small size. She had tried everything to get her to quiet down, tried feeding her, changing her diaper, distracting her. Nothing seemed to be working.
The time has finally come to announce the official winners of RvB Winter! The winners have all worked very hard and have submitted the most works here, so give them all a large round of Internet applause! They completely deserve all the kudos and adoration everyone will obviously heap on them :)
And finally, in first place:
1st place: mistevieous
Congratulations to our winners! They’ll be able to decide the themes/prompts for the Winner’s Week. The first place winner will get three days to decide on, the second and third place winners will each get two! Just contact me with your choices, guys!
That being said, I’ve decided to push back Winner’s Week (along with the final week) by a week, to give the winners more time to decide! Sorry, that was my fault. In the meantime, people can catch up with late entries and whatnot.
Thanks for participating, everyone! And a super awesome special thanks to the winners for being amazing and helping make this a great event. You guys are the best!
“Mama mama look!”
Allison turned to see what her daughter was so excited about this time, a little smile on her face, “Just what do you think you’re doing, kid?”
“M’being you!” The girl giggled, wearing her mother’s fatigues and boots, stomping around in them.
“Being me? Don’t you think those clothes are a little bit too big for you?”
“Nooooope! They’s the perfect size, I just gotta grows into them!”
South stopped in the doorway of her brother’s room, surprised. He was sitting on his bed, head in his hands. “North?”
He looked up, and she could see the tear stains on his cheeks. She was at his side in an instant, wrapping an arm around him. He leaned against her, face pressing against her shoulder. She wasn’t really sure what to do so she let him cry it out, rubbing a hand up and down his back. South didn’t have a lot of experience comforting people, but it couldn’t be that difficult, right?
